Fort Largs Development is a 150 Lot Development at the old Fort Largs Police Training Barracks.

190mm Sewer installation down Strathfield Terrace – DIT Road
Each day the opened trenched was surveyed and backfilled so that the road could be used by traffic

Depth started at 2.6m rising to 1.9m
Due to the sand the sewer pipe required more protection, geofabric was placed on the pipe bed and ran up the sides of the trench. Once the pipe was laid and backfilled the geofab was folded over the top to wrap it like a present, protecting the pipe for as much sand as possible – this method was used for the entire project.
